ITANAGAR, May 29: A meeting was held regarding implementation of various schemes namely— Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swalamban Yojana, Chief Minister Krishi Rinn Yojana and Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Bunkar Yojana at the DC capital’s office.

The meeting was attended by officials of Itanagar Municipal Council, District Administration, Department of Horticulture, Tourism Agriculture, Representatives of NABARD and Lead Bank Manager Papum Pare.

Speaking at the meeting, DC Prince Dhawan, highlighted the aim and objective of the meeting and requested all the members present to understand the guidelines and modalities so as to devise a strategy for implementing the three schemes on the field for making it successful.

Kamal Roy, District Development Manager, NABARD made a presentation on all the three schemes in detail. Jaspal Singh, Lead Bank Manger Papum Pare informed that, under Swalamban Yojana  target allocated for Papumpare is 515 numbers, Krishi Rin Yojana 1500 and under Bunkar Yojana 234.

The DC informed that, a Help desk will be set up in the DC, ICC office for registration of beneficiaries in the Stand Up India which is mandatory for availing benefits under Swalamban Yojana and also for explaining the modalities of the scheme.

He directed the ADC (Hq) and CMEO to fix targets for each CO under each scheme keeping in mind the District target and to ensure sufficient competition in Swalamban scheme.

The DC, ICC also decided to have a sensitization workshop for all COs/EACs, etc in coordination with Deputy Commissioner, Papum Pare, Yupia.
