DAPORIJO, Oct 10: A meeting of all ERO’s/AERO’s, administrative officers, SP and other election related personnel was held here today  under the chairmanship of DC cum DEO Danish Ashraf.  Various issues related to ongoing summary revision of electoral rolls and district management plan pertaining to the conduct of ensuing Parliamentary as well as Assembly elections were discussed thoroughly.
The DC apprised the members to follow the direction and guidelines issued by the Election Commission of India and discharge their duties with utmost dedication in a time bound manner.  Tage Tatung, EAC(Election) highlighted various issues and status of ongoing  summary revision activities and the preparatory activities to be undertaken by all concerned departments for preparation of election management plan for ensuing simultaneous elections. All the members present including SP, Daporijo,  ADC, Daporijo, all the EROs and AEROs gave their inputs and fruitful suggestions. 
Further, hands on training on operations and handling of EVM & VVPAT were also given.
