YUPIA Nov 9: Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Dr. Joram Beda chaired the 2nd board meeting of the District Agriculture Development Society (DADS) here on Thursday on project proposals under CM’s Sashakt Kisan Yojana (CMSKY) and Krishi Samuh Yojana (CMKSY). The DC advised the HoDs of Agriculture and allied departments to work on mission mode to ensure that the real farmers reap the benefits and asked the concerned departments to submit the proposals at the earliest.
Agriculture Development Officer, Hage Amphi briefed the member about the aim and objective of the schemes and gave a brief review about the 1st DADS meeting conducted on October 8.
Agriculture and allied Department submitted proposals for setting up model farm on passion fruit and stevia plants, model farm on integrated farming system, milking machine cum chilling units, construction of freshwater fish seed hatchery, handloom unit, etc.
