ITANAGAR, Sep 18:  To celebrate the birth anniversary of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA, Likha Saaya along with the Mandal BJP team of 16th Yachuli constituency organized a medical camp cum tree plantation at Yachuli, Lower Subansiri district on September 17 last.

The programme was attended by district in-charge Vishal P Nabam, election in- charge and in-charge of Sadyasta Abhiyan Techi Necha, vice chairman of sports and youth affairs Doni Nich, vice-chairman of department of indigenous affairs Kuru Thai, senior leader Likha Maj and others. 

The outline of the programme was to honour the birth anniversary of Narendra Modi in the form of medical karyanjali or ‘Sewa Divas’. 

On the occasion, Saaya interacted with the patients of the Community Health Centre, Yazali and enquired about the facilities provided to them in the CHC.

He also asked the doctors and staffers to take extra care of the patients and provide better facilities for which, he donated cash amount of 2 lakh for the procurement of necessary medicines etc. 

Meanwhile, Saaya also promised to upgrade the infrastructure from SPT to three-storeyed RCC building.

After visiting CHC as a part of Sewa Divas, he attended the BLC & BLAs meeting and stressed on being sincere and dedicated to the party and also asked the party workers to elect the same government in the ensuing election in 2019.
