ITANAGAR, Jul 9: As a part of the 6-day sero-surveillance test camp, media persons from various outlets and digital media organizations also came forward voluntarily and gave samples for COVID-19 testing.
The State health department has organized a 6-day sero-surveillance test camp for the frontline workers which will be held from July 9 to 15 at different locations of the capital region.
On the first day of the camp, around 160 samples of frontline workers viz police, doctors, media persons and those who are suspected to be primary and secondary contacts were collected at Urban Primary Health Center, Itanagar.
A total of 6 different locations were zeroed down for the said test viz PTC, Banderdewa, Mini Secretariat, Naharlagun, State Quarantine Center, Lekhi, Urban Primary Health Center, Itanagar, GGR School, Yupia and CHC, Doimukh.
The decision of conducting the test was taken after reports of positive cases of frontline workers of Itanagar in the line of duty came to light.
