Khonsa, Apr 26: Chakat Aboh, the current Khonsa West MLA and wife of the then slain and sitting MLA of the constituency Late Tirong Aboh has expressed gratitude to the state government for clearing payments to the Next of Kin(NoK) of the May 21 massacre incident.
Chakat Aboh said Chief Minister Pema Khandu has been kind enough to fulfil his commitment to all the NoK of the 12 victimised families and extended gratefulness towards the Tirap District Administration for timely approval and forwarding of related files for necessary sanctioning.
May 21, 2019 will always be remembered as an infamous day in the political history of Arunachal Pradesh when 11 people including Late Tirong Aboh and his 19-year old son Along Aboh were killed in an ambush at Pansumthong village near Bogapani area in Tirap district while travelling to Khonsa from Dibrugarh.
