PASIGHAT, Jun 2: In its continuous efforts to fight against the spread of Covid-19 pandemic in the district, the Nehru Yuva Kendra volunteers and NDRF trained volunteers of East Siang District organized mass awareness campaign on the theme "Badalkar Apna Vavyvahar Karen Corona par Vaar"  to sensitize people regarding prevalent misconceptions, and associated stigma leading to discrimination against healthcare workers fighting the Covid -19 pandemic.
Street lecture, wall writing, and postering followed by distribution of pamphlets within  Pasighat township areas marked the daylong programme.  
Leading the volunteers , Tapun Taki, District Youth Coordinator, NYK Pasighat appealed everyone to maintain social distancing, wear masks, and regularly wash hands by soap and to obey guidelines strictly to stop the spread of conorovirus as a precautionary measure.
