ITANAGAR, May 21:Marken Lollen won the 1st Season of Arunachal Young singing stars (AYSS) which concluded on Sunday at Siddhartha Hall and took home a cash prize of 1 lakh rupees with certificate and trophy. Sonam Kumari was adjudged the 2nd place and received 50,000 cash prize while Nyonyok Talom secured the 3rd prize and bagged  a cash prize of 30,000 rupees. Two others in the top five—Preety Rai and Nabam Nima received consolation prizes.

In his address, chief guest, Parliamentary Secretary PWD, UD cum local MLA, Techi Kaso while giving away the prizes to winners appealed the people of the capital complex to maintain unity, integrity and glory of the state capital.

Taking the opportunity, Kaso urged denizens to keep capital neat and clean and said we all have equal responsibility to make our state capital one of the cleanest cities in the country.

Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan also addressed the gathering.

SP Capital Sagar Singh Kalsi, IMC Councillor Donik Tayu, Education Development Society Chairman Sanjay Dolo among others were present on the occasion.
