NAHARLAGUN, Apr 11: In an unfortunate incident, a man was buried alive in a ring well construction site due to landslide in Doimukh, Papumpare district.

The victim identified as Ankush Doley hailing  from Naranyanpur, Assam was engaged in construction of ring well at a private residence at Nyorch village in Doimukh.

Eyewitness claimed that, Doley along with few others were working in the under construction ring well when the mishap occurred.

Later locals with the help of excavator, retrieved the body which was  around 10 feet below and  immediately  rushed him to the Tomo Riba Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences where  doctors declared  him brought dead, informed a Police source. The whole rescue operation took more than an hour.
