Governor chairs high-level security review meeting
SEPPA, Mar 24: Intended for development only, Parliamentary Secretary (RD & PR and IPR & Publicity) Mama Natung on Friday last made a whirlwind tour of Kafla and Champing villages of East Kameng district and took stock of various developmental activities undergoing in the area.
Addressing huge gathering at both villages, Natung highlighted about various developmental schemes that are undergoing and completed in his constituency, which include electrification of villages, drinking water supply, irrigation facility, village roads, and infrastructural projects under tourism, rural development, health, education and other important sectors. He further promised to work even harder to bring more schemes for all round development of his constituency.
Advocating the mantra of uniform development of all, he further stated that he accords uniform attention to every individual and treats every village and its entire people equally. He further urged everyone not to play politics in development matters.
Cautioning against politicizing in any developmental endeavour, he further stated that he will leave no stone unturned for all-round development of his constituency in particular.
During the tour, Parliamentary Secretary Natung inaugurated a community hall at Kafla. He inspected 5 km stretch of the ongoing PMGSY road from Champing to Watte on foot. He also made an assessment of the dilapidated wire suspension bridge at Champing, which has claimed a life very recently. He met and consoled the family of the deceased K. Kino.
Parliamentary Secretary Mama Natung was accompanied by former Minister Hari Natung, ZPM-cum-Vice Chairman (AP Rubber Board) Dadi Rimo, PD (DRDA) Dahey Sangno, EAC Bana Pooza Natung, Principal (DIET) Kata Rangmo, Anchal Chairperson Mangha Rimo, and host of govt. officials, PRI and public leaders.
