ITANAGAR, May 3: Delegation of ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam Yatra’ organized  by  Arunachal Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC) to celebrate the yearlong birth centenary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, reached Daporijo today.

Addressing the members of District Youth Congress and Assembly Youth Congress APYC President Jikke Tako highlighted the contributions of Indira Gandhi for development of the nation and particularly Arunachal Pradesh and appealed the members to follow the ideology of the late leader.

Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary, APCC Tachu Hina opined that the Congress are victims of political conspiracy in the state and country but will come to power again. ‘Congress has contributed towards nation building, particularly towards Arunachal but BJP government is only good at marketing and its party ideology doesn’t match with our tribal society too,’ he added

Among others, General Secretary, APYC I/C Upper Subansiri  Nangbia Bida, general secretary Indian Youth Congress (IYC ) Indrani Mishra, and IYC secretary Sarifa Rehman  also spoke on the occasion.
