Yachuli, Apr 27: Deputy Commissioner, Lower Subansiri Chukhu Takar on Monday inspected the ongoing Trans Arunachal Highway(TAH) works at here at Anya Gate, Joram village, Talo and Pania.
He appealed the local people to cooperate and support the construction agencies to complete the work at the earliest. “Creating hindrance will not only slow the progress of the road but will also retard development of the area,” he added, while expressing satisfaction over the progress of work during the lockdown period. The Joram-Koloriang road package I & II under Lower Subansiri district from km 20 to 50 (Talo to Yapap Hogu) is being executed by M/s Brand Eagle (JV) M/s TK Consortiums and 90% of the formation cutting works of this stretch has been completed within less than a year.
The Potin-Bopi TAH from km 0.00 to 43.350(Potin-Anya Gate package I) which is being executed by M/s Nabam Tulon Construction has seen a work progress of around 8 km and above 18% within two months. Meanwhile, the Potin-Bopi TAH from km 43 to 78 (Anya Gate to Pamluk under Package II) executed by M/s Puna Hinda Construction has completed around 40% of formation cutting in two months and the stretch of road which was an abandoned portion and took almost two hours to navigate the 20 km length is witnessing a remarkable progress in a short period of time.
