Ziro, Mar 26: The Lower Subansiri District Administration has started door-to-door delivery of essential commodities, groceries and medicines (prescription will be required) within the Ziro/ Hapoli township from Thursday.
The orders can be placed by sending requirements to the WhatsApp number 6009476805 and facility of cash through POS will also be made available during the deliveries. The first consignment of eight orders was flagged off by EAC Bamin Tarang.
“With the commencement of this facility all grocery shops shall remain closed till further orders,” EAC informed while reiterating the need for full implementation of the lockdown orders to combat Covid-19.
“Volunteers /delivery boys have been briefed about the safety measures and directions have been issued to them to maintain the required distance,” EAC added. Dipro
