Ziro, May 11: Deputy Commissioner of Lower Subansiri district Nending Chatung on Monday inspected the designated quarantine centres/CCCs in Yachuli and Yazali to assess the infrastructural and manpower gaps. 
In Yachuli, government circuit house, boys’ & girls’ hostel of Yachuli Government College are the designated CCCs and at present 7 returnees are placed in government circuit house. On being apprised about the shortage of medical staff and sanitary assistants by the Nodal Officer, DC assured to look into the matter and work out the modalities for sharing medical staff.
In Yazali, the PWD circuit house has been designated as the CCC. “Seventeen people who  are under quarantine here have all tested negative after RT-PCR test and will be discharged after official formalities with  further advice of home quarantine,” Nodal Officer Nich Teli informed. DIPRO
