ITANAGAR, Feb 10:
A total of 180 pending cases were disposed of in the Lok Adalats sessions held all over the state by various District & Session Courts judges at Basar,Pasighat, Seppa,Roing,Yupia etc including the Itanagar Permanent Bench of Gauhati High Court, Naharlagun.
During the Lok Adalats, a total of 907 cases consisting of criminal, Pre-Litigation and Civil and other cases were listed for hearing and out of which only a total of 180 cases were solved. An amount of two crores one lakh forty one thousand two hundred and eighty three was recovered in total.
A MACT appeal case was also amicably settled between the parties involving an amount of Rs 14 lakhs.
