ITANAGAR, Mar 9: In order to provide amicable and speedy solutions to various pre-litigation and pending cases in various courts of Arunachal Pradesh, National Lok Adalat was organised today in the districts by the various District Legal Services Authorities.
Altogether 762 pre-litigation cases were listed, out of which 151 cases were settled with a total settlement amount of Rs. 22,22,56,792. 218 post-litigations were listed, out of which 30 cases were settled with a settlement amount of Rs. 1,28,55,000.
The aforesaid Lok Adalats were conducted by the District & Session Judge, Yupia, Additional District & Session Judges of Bomdila, Basar & Pasighat, Chief Judicial Magistrates of Roing, Aalo, Yupia & Seppa, Judicial Magistrates First Class of Yupia,Tawang, Daporijo, Yingkiong and Khonsa.
