TEZU, Feb 27:In a commendable task, Lohit district has achieved hundred percent immunization coverage of target beneficiaries.
This was revealed during a review meeting conducted by the District Task Force for Immunisation (DTFI) here held to take stock of Intensive Pulse Polio Immunisation (IPPI) and Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign (MRVC) programme under the chairmanship of DC Karma Leki.
DRCHO S Nayil informed that the percentage might go higher once the sweeping round is conducted in the month of March. The district has also been able to achieve over 102.9% percentage in covering IPPI beneficiaries.
Congratulating the campaign team and other stakeholders, the DC said the enthusiasm and zeal must be maintained. He added that although various obstacles may arise, out of box solutions must be implemented within the laid down government guidelines.
