SEPPA, Jul 8: In view of the increasing cases of COVID -19 in the state, Deputy Commissioner East Kameng imposed lockdown in district headquarters Seppa.
The lockdown has been enforced from July 8 to July 11 next. During the lockdown, all establishments, vehicular movement will remain closed and off the road. Places of worship and other institution will also be closed. However, Government offices, its vehicles, ATMs, Banks and emergency services, will be allowed to move during the lockdown, informed DC East Kameng PA Polumathla.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Upper Subansiri also as precautionary measure imposed lockdown in the entire district after the report of increasing cases of COVID-19 in the state. As per the order, lockdown will be enforced from 5am of July 10 to 5pm of July 15 next.
During the lockdown, movement of people and vehicles or assembly of people is restricted. Places of worship, shops and establishments will remain closed expect government offices, ATMs,Banks and other government departments including emergency services, the order stated.
