Longding, Apr 12: In view of the lockdown currently in force due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a joint inspection of bordering areas of the neighbouring districts of Longding in Arunachal Pradesh and Charaideo in Assam was conducted on Sunday at the initiative of SP Longding.
The team led by SPs of both the districts visited the boundary areas to review the lockdown compliance and interacted with the villagers of Kamkuh Russa. The team urged the villagers to restrict haphazard movement and use only the designated routes when required so that all inflows and outflows can be regulated and screened at the gate set up specifically for the purpose.
The Arunachal team was led by SP Longding, CO Lawnu, SDPO Kanubari whereas the Assam side comprised of SP, SDPO, DSP of Charaideo district, CO Sapekhati and OC Charaipung. DIPRO
