Aalo, May 5: West Siang Deputy Commissioner has cautioned the district's people not to give room to any complacency due to the relaxed norms that are being enjoyed under the green zone tag.
DC stressed on maintaining strict vigil of the check gates and proper screening of people coming in huge numbers into the district from different parts of the state and country and maintaining of social distancing norm and wearing of masks in all public places during the third phase of lockdown. She further reminded that fine will be imposed on violators and shops not complying with the guidelines of engaging staff and social distancing demarcation in front of their premises will be sealed for one week. The District Administration is taking up another round of meeting with the prominent citizens of Aalo township to implement lockdown 3.0, DC added. Meanwhile, APDA, continuing its “Mask for All” campaign, distributed masks to Yomcha and Liromoba Circles braving the heavy downpour and clearing road blockades in course of their journey. In a goodwill gesture, Bene village provided lunch to the team comprising medical & police personnel and volunteers at the Bam check gate.
The APWWS and many other organisations had also extended similar services at Hissam check gate to encourage the team manning the gate. DIPRO
