TEZU, Aug 11: To mark the 2nd death anniversary of late Kalikho Pul, a literary competition was observed under the banner of Mishmi Hills Foundation (MHF) here on August 9-10.
 
S Sengupta, EAC as a chief guest recalled the outstanding achievement of Pul. His visionary perception proved not only the leader of Lohit and Anjaw but also for entire Arunachal, he said.
 
Suraj Tayang GS CALSOM as guest of honour lauded the initiative taken by the Mishmi Hills Foundation to encourage students to face the stiff competition. Both also gave away prizes to the winners.
Meanwhile, Bajai Pul, Chairman, MHF spoke on the quintessence of the literary competition. “The motive behind organizing this kind of competition is to motivate and encourage the student in studies to face competitive exams including UPSC and APPSC”, he said .
