ITANAGAR, Sep 24: New India Literacy Program Assessment Test 2023-24, under New India Literacy Programme (NILP) was conducted today at OJU Welfare Association and two other centres at Itanagar and Naharlagun run by Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society( APWWS).
The programme is a new scheme promoting adult education. It mainly focuses on complete eradication of illiteracy by providing basic literacy.
At OWA, the assessment test was facilitated by Binny Yachu as Centre Superintendent, Kabom Tatak and Bini Kompi as Invigilator.
At APWWS Itanagar Centre, Kani Nada Maling, President APWWS was the Centre Superintendent. Yomjum Geyi Jongsam was the Incharge along with Taku Yasap Tadar, Joram Rosy, Milo Sumka, Ipu Angu as invigilators.
At Naharlagun Centre, Rerik Karlo Digbak was the Centre Superintendent and Engam Rumi Zirdo was the Invigilator.
Tori Gadi, APO-cum- Assistant Nodal Officer, DLMA, ICR along with his team also visited the exam centres and took stock of the examination.
All together 28 learners from OWA and 34 from APWWS Centres appeared for the assessment test.
