Tawang, May 3: Complying with the Election Commission of India’s instruction to destroy liquor seized during general elections 2019, 40.5 bulk litres of
IMFL and 39.6 bulk litres of beer seized by the Flying Squad and Static Surveillance Teams of Tawang Assembly Constituency were destroyed today.
This was done in presence of the board formed for the said purpose consisting of members of Women’s Welfare Association and all the three bazar secretaries of Tawang. Before pouring the liquors into the pit, Executive Magistrate Sang Khandu informed that the process had been carried out as per ECI’s directive in force.
