ITANAGAR, Jul 1: A small library called 'Lending Book Project' was launched here today at Ngurang Learning Institute-Nirjuli. Chairperson, NLI, Ngurang Meena inaugurated the facility  in presence of social activist, Gyamar Yal.
The Library is open to the public, and a reader can access all of its resources after subscribing a Library Card. NLI is an adult education center which was founded to uplift women and raise voice against the traditional-patriarchal practices in the state.
Meanwhile, two sessions on 'Importance of Reading' by a research scholar, and co-founder of the society, Ngurang Reena and another on ‘Menstrual Health and Female Hygiene' by Doctor Ngurang Radha was also conducted at the institute today.
