YINGKIONG, Dec 27: The Rabung Bridge on Migging-Tuting Road which has huge strategic importance from the country’s defence point of view was inaugurated by Minister Health & Family Welfare Alo Libang on December 26 last.
Constructed by 1448 BCC, 761 BRTF of Project Brahmank of Border Roads Organisation (BRO), the bridge will facilitate smooth movement of heavy vehicles and security forces including the Indian Army and ITBP to Tuting and forward sectors of the region as the Migging-Tuting road is the only line of communication to border areas and posts located ahead of Tuting near Gelling and Bishing. It has been constructed with prestressed concrete in super structure and with reinforced cement concrete foundations having 70 R load capacity.
Libang appreciated the 761 BRTF of Project Brahmank for their yeoman services towards development of infrastructure in Arunachal Pradesh especially in far flung and remote areas of the Siang valley region. 
Chief Engineer Project Brahmank R K Dhiman, VSM who was also present on the occasion informed that BRO is expediting the double-lane work between Nigging to Tuting keeping in mind the quality aspects and also in the process of finalising the proposal of double laning for the balance stretches from Migging to Nigging, work for which will commence soon. He added that BRO will be completing six more bridges in Siang and Siyom Valley regions shortly which will enhance trafficability to a great extent. He added that four BRO projects are currently engaged in the development of road infrastructure in the state. 
Meanwhile, Libang along with MLA Rumgong Talem Taboh and MLA Mariyang-Geku Kanggong Taku also visited Tuting Sub-division on December 26 last.
The trio accompanied by a host of public leaders reached Migging on foot from Gasheng village of Payum Circle and halted at Migging village. The office building of ADC Tuting was inaugurated followed by tree plantation amidst a huge gathering of government officers, HGBs, GBs, general public and cultural troop. DIPRO
