ITANAGAR, Sep 7: The State Legal Services Authority has today participated in the ‘sarkar apke dwar’ programme held at Govt Higher Secondary School here.

During the day-long programme, the State Authority in collaboration with Papum Pare District Legal Services Authority stall had 110 visitors who were given counseling on legal issues including distribution of brochures and pamphlets. Again during the programme, the State Authority in collaboration with the Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society (APPWS) had also facilitated free marriage registration for 120 applicants while 24 couples were issued marriage registration certificates. During the programme, four advocates and five Para Legal Volunteers rendered their services.
