Aalo, Mar 1: A two-day legal literacy cum training programme on 'Synergy between Customary Practices and Formal Laws' for the Gaon Buras and Gaon Buris of Shi Yomi, Leppa Rada, Upper Subansiri and West Siang districts concluded today at Gumin.
Attending the concluding session, Member Secretary APSLSA Jaweplu Chai stressed on the topic of ‘Access to Justice’ touching the points such as free legal services through Legal Aid Clinics, Lok Adalats, Concept of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arunachal Pradesh Victim Compensation Scheme 2011 etc.
CJM cum Secretary DLSA West Siang, Habung Tangu spoke on the changing legal aspects among other resource persons.
