Mariyang, Feb 2: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA),Upper Siang District conducted a legal awareness programme at Abu Church to women and youth of Upper Siang Christian forum.
DLSA Secy Mary Kamsi was also present during the programme and delivered the topic on services under Legal Services Act. Legal topics regarding Women Rights, Cr.P.C 125, marriage registration and POCSO Act were discussed for the general public by legal aid counsels Tapang Tabing, Dipi Tasing and Kabang Taron to create awareness regarding new laws. Legal brochures were also distributed to participants.
