Roing, Jul 1: Department of Agriculture, Lower Dibang Valley district in collaboration with the District Kisan Morcha on Wednesday distributed seedlings, agricultural equipment and tools to 14 farmers to achieve the Central and State government’s 2022 target output under the National Food Security Mission scheme.
The Agriculture department team and Kisan Morcha members headed by Daniel Perying along with district office bearers and Mandals of Kisan Morcha distributed pulses, paddy, moong, ragi, maize, soybean, black gram seeds, chemicals and hand tools under the National Food Security Mission (NFSM) to the farmers selected by the members of the interim committee and Bhartiya Kisan Morcha Roing.
The team provided guidance to the farmers and highlighted the aims and objectives of the NFSM. DIPRO
