ITANAGAR, May 13:The Kurung Kumey National Highway Development Committee has urged the state government to pass necessary order to Deputy Commissioner, Koloriang to pay immediate compensation to the land affected people of 2 laning of (70km) Joram-Koloriang road, so that the construction of road commences without any obstacle. Also informing that the Centre had already approved and sanctioned funds for compensation to affected land owners, the committee expressed disappointment that despite repeated request to DC, the land affected people are yet to get the amount.
The committee further also demanded concern DC for immediate construction of highway road from Kra-Daadi boundary to Sarli under Kurung Kumey district, immediate completion of ongoing PWD road from Kurung river to Nyobia Circle etc
