ITANAGAR, Jan 6: Kurung Kumey defeated host East Siang 4-3 in the final match by penalties to lift its fourth Tadar Tang SLFT title here at Pasighat Outdoor stadium.
Both the teams created several chances in the normal regulation and extra time but failed to convert them into goals and eventually result was decided in a penalty shootout.
Tame Agung was adjudged most valuable player of the tournament for his exquisite performances throughout the championship.
Tajong Nonang of East Siang and Andhoko Meto of Lower Dibang Valley were declared best goalkeeper and highest scorer of the tournament respectively.
Match was rescheduled for Monday due to unfavourable weather conditions on Sunday.
