ITANAGAR, Aug 22: Arunachal Pradesh Assembly Secretariat on Thursday declared the Khonsa West Assembly Constituency ‘vacant’, exactly three months after its sitting MLA Tirong Aboh was assassinated on May 21 last along with his son and 9 others.
“Consequent upon the death of sitting MLA, Tirong Aboh on May 21st, 2019, the seat of 56-Khonsa West (ST) Constituency of the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly has fallen vacant,” the official release stated.
