Khonsa, May 29: A mass rally-cum-candle march was organised today by the All Tirap District Students’ Union (ATDSU) as a protest against the May 21 massacre which took away the lives of Khonsa West sitting  MLA Tirong Aboh and ten others.
The march which took off from Khonsa Bazar taxi stand and culminated at petrol depot via  DC office was participated by people from all walks of life of Tirap district with vociferous chanting of ‘We Want Justice’, ‘Justice Delayed is Justice Denied’, ‘No More Violence’, ‘Tirap Ko Insaaf Do’ etc.
ATDSU President Hapwang Lowang, IPR ATDSU Khuntik Bangsia and Finance Secretary Rangmo Rangsong  jointly submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner of the district appealing the central and state governments to bring justice without further delay. DIPRO
