KALAKTANG, Oct 20: Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Friday inaugurated the Community Health Centre building of Kalaktang and office of Extra Assistance Commissioner of Balemu during a public meeting here. 
He also laid the foundation stone for Govt High School building of Kalaktang and for construction of Samdrung-Bhutan road in presence of MoS Home Kiren Rijiju, Speaker TN Thongdok, State BJP President Tapir Gao, PHED Minister Wangki Lowang, Education Minister Honchun Ngandam, Health Minister Alo Libang, Advisor to CM Japu Deru and MLAs Phurpa Tsering and Kumsi Sidisow. 
Congratulating the people for the new projects announced, Chief Minister said the condition of Govt School here was in bad shape and needed urgent attention. He said under MSDP scheme, Rs 6.50 crore has been sanctioned for construction of a new school building. 
On connectivity to Bhutan, Khandu said fund of Rs 21.40Cr has been sanctioned under CRF for commencement of the project. He said the project got the priority through Rijiju at the centre and thanked Thongdok for initiating the project to promote trade and cultural exchanges. 
To check miscreants in the Arunachal-Assam border, Chief Minister said the upgradation of Balemu CO office to EAC was a long pending demand, which has been completed with its inauguration. 
Informing about air connectivity in Tawang-West Kameng region, Khandu said a technical committee from Govt of India is soon to visit the area to find suitable place for construction of an airport, which will be used for civilian and military purposes. Chief Minister also informed that state govt is hiring its own fleet of aircraft to connect all ALGs and airport in the state. 
He said West Kameng inhabited by six tribes is an epitome of communal harmony in the state. He urged the people to maintain such inter-community bonding and requested them not to ever let the pace of development to slow down. 
Reiterating his stand on CoSAAP’s agitation, Chief Minister said the state govt will not bow to their blackmailing tactics. He said the state govt is not opposed to their demand and has only stated that their demands cannot be met at one go and will be only implemented phase wise depending on the financial conditions of the state. 
He also reiterated that state govt will strictly enforce CCS rules applicable on pen down tool down strike leading to ‘dies non’ and even service break. Further Khandu said the state govt will also not hesitate to terminate the agitating employees even if that may extend to thousands. He said the govt is ever ready to recruit fresh unemployed youths to fill up those jobs. 
Chief Minister later visited the Ngagyur Sangchen Padma Woedling Gonpa.
