ITANAGAR, Sep 3:   Chief Minister Pema Khandu today called on Governor Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) here at Raj Bhavan to discuss various developmental issues that will be put forward by Arunachal Pradesh in the ensuing 68th plenary of North Eastern Council (NEC) at Guwahati.
Governor opined that vital issues of security, road communication, health & education, youth development and employment generating sectors must be given priority in the agenda of this vital plenary session along with the equally important issues of skill development, infrastructural development and law & order. Grand celebration plans of the 150th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi also featured in discussion.  
Governor shared his observations gathered during his just concluded tour of Vijoynagar, Miao, Jairampur, Nampong and Pangsau Pass in Changlang district with the Chief Minister. He once more reiterated the need for expediting the Miao-Vijoynagar road and early inauguration of the trade and commerce hub at Pangsau Pass on Indo-Myanmar border.
Earlier, Chief Engineer, Project Arunank, Naharlagun Brig. AS Chonker, VSM gave a detailed presentation to the duo. Secretary Planning, Himanshu Gupta was also present in the meeting. PRO Raj Bhavan
