LEH, May 4: Chief Minister Pema Khandu visited Ladakh along with Raksha Mantri Nirmala Sitharaman to campaign for BJP candidate Jamyang Tsering Namgyal here today.
Chief Minister during the campaign also met the BJP party workers from Arunachal Pradesh who are campaigning there.
Chief Minister in his speech spoke of the similarities in lives of people living in the Himalayan region. He extolled over the cultural similarities of Tawang and Ladakh. He said Tawang is the birthplace of 6th Dalai Lama. CM also told the audience that he would support the genuine demands of the people of Ladakh with all the MPs of North East. CM informed the people of Ladakh of the work done by the Narendra Modi government in Arunachal and North East and requested people of Leh and Kargil to vote for the BJP candidate so as to bring development in the region of Ladakh.CMO
