In the evolving political situation, after the merger of Congress government into BJP government, hundreds of Indian National Congress party workers along with Panchayati Raj leaders joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in a programme organized by the BJP Mandal committee of 28-Likabali Assembly constituency.

 

 

‘Maintain party discipline and work in the larger interest of society,’ said State President and former MP, Tapir Gao while assuring the crowd of rapid progress and development in days to come under the leadership of Pema Khandu in the state and Narendra Modi at the Centre.

 

While welcoming the new party members, the local MLA and Health and Family Welfare Minister, Jomde Kena assured to bring in more developments.  Impartiality shall be maintained in allocating funds for development, he promised.  

 

‘Onus is on the old party workers to induct and orient the new party members as much as it is the responsibility of the new members to be good learners,’ stated State General Secretary, Jarpum Gamlin.

 

State General Secretary BR Waghe recalled the glorious history and sacrifices of the founding fathers while State Secretary cum District in-charge for West Siang District Lelong Lingfa deliberated on the party’s ideology, principles and working system.
