ITANAGAR, Feb 1: The road at Karsingsa which was closed down for repair and maintenance has been opened today for vehicular movement. During the period, vehicular movement from Nirjuli to Banderdewa and vice versa was restricted and all vehicles were diverted via Gumto road. 
Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Region, Komkar Dulom while informing this sought further cooperation especially from the people of Karsingsa and Banderdewa as the executing agency plans major works on the stretch.
‘For good and all weather road people shall have to bear with a few conveniences.
This being a completely new formation cutting even landslides during coming monsoon cannot be ruled out. Freshly cut earth shall need at least one season's time for stabilization. Denizens need to understand such technicalities and continue to cooperate for a better road,’ he said.
CO(Highway) Bittu Kri informed that the road was closed down for widening of road necessitated due to collapse of few sections of the highway last summer. DIPRO
