ITANAGAR, May 6:   Parliamentary Secretary for Sports and Youth Affairs Nyamar Karbak called upon the youth to be more sincere and dedicated and take the games and sports as career building while highlighting scopes for meritorious sportsperson in every department under sports quota. Karbak was addressing while kicking off the opening ceremony of T20 Cricket tournament organised by Bopu Youth Club at Liromoba, West Siang district on Friday.  Karbak who is also the local MLA further asked the youth to excel in sports as well as in academics saying that one needs to be excellent in both.

Pointing out that more sectors in the areas need to be developed, in his address, the local MLA also urged the general public to shed political differences and unite for overall development of the area.

"Leaders are elected only for the welfare of the area and my duty is to make the area more developed, especially in the field of education, health sectors. I don't count the people in the line of party affiliation; every individual of my assembly constituency is equal for me,” exhorted Karbak while urging people to put collective effort to make the constituency as model constituency of the state.  

He added that state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu is taking up welfare activities for common people and state will witness positive changes.

Longa Kena, EE RWD Aalo division, Joint Director Sports cum Mission Director Khelo India Gumnya Karbak, Deputy Director Technical S&YA  Heri Robin,  ZPM Yomcha, Yiyom Yomcha and other officials also attended the function.
