PASIGHAT, Jul 20: Omuk Aje of Pasighat, East Siang district is going to represent Arunachal Pradesh in the 10th Independence National and International Open Karate Championship 2019 (INIOK) to be held at Vadodara, Gujarat from August 10-11 next, informed Manager, Mixed Martial Arts Federation of Arunachal, Anang Tayeng in a press release.
INIOK is going to be an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) with Mixed Martial Arts(MMA) and Aje is going to participate in this said upcoming national and international event from Mixed Martial Arts(MMA) Federation of Arunachal. He had previously participated in the MMA Championship-during 2018 in Chennai and thus can’t be called a novice. This is the first time in India  when a  premier karate championship like this is  going to be organised where total prizes  will be amounting to  Rs. 30 lacs.
Aje along with the team management have requested the people of Arunachal Pradesh to pray for him. His Grandmaster, Aling Pinggam a former world champion in similar sports has also hoped  that Aje will achieve success.
