ITANAGAR, Sep 27: A team of Galo Students’ Union (GSU) led by its General Secretary Deny Boje along with Galo Youth Organization (GYO) and All Lower Siang District Students’ Union on Friday visited the Kangku Circle under Lower Siang District to take stock of the prevailing situation that has evolved after an alleged land encroachment attempt by an inhabitant of Assam.
GSU while appealing both the governments of Assam & Arunachal Pradesh to take prompt action to avert any kind of tension, also appealed the residents of both the states not to take law into their hands and maintain peace & tranquility. It has also appealed that the troublemaker should be spared so as to maintain the age-old good relationship between the two states.
Further, it has also appealed the civil organizations & students’ unions of Assam to spread the message of brotherhood to avoid any kind of communal clashes. GSU PR
