Dollungmukh, Jul 23: The District Health Society (DHS) , Kamle organised series of awareness camps on Japanese Encalphilaties (JE) and RBSK screening at schools and Anganwadi centres across Dollungmukh circle on Monday.
Leading the campaign DRCHO Dr.Kapu Sopin said that since Dollungmukh shares borders with Assam where JE cases have been detected, it is the concerted effort by all the stakeholders to create maximum awareness in this region.
At Upper Kamle MO i/c Puchigeko Dr.Jullion Gongo kick started the campaign from JNV school at Meg dong. Upper Kamle area which covers Ligu, Liruk, Baja, Niji, Dong, etc are high risk areas owing to the presence of vast areas under paddy fields.
Goan buras, ASHAS and Anganwadi workers ,RBSK team members and teachers took part in the awareness programs. DIPRO
