ITANAGAR, Jan 18: State Judo players, who made the state proud by winning medals in various categories in the Khelo India Youth Games at Pune, Maharashtra were accorded a warm welcome upon their arrival by relatives, well-wishers here at Naharlagun Railway station this morning.
Altogether 10 judo players participated and bagged 2 silver and 2 bronze medals in different categories.
Two silver was won by Kabin Doyom in U-21 48 Kg girls and her sister Kabi Doyom in U-17 below 48kg category.
Madin Hina, secured a bronze in U-21 (66 Kg) boys category and Khendam Wanghap in the U-17 Male category.
Members from Rayu Ao welfare society (RUBO), Galo Baptist church and youths of Yegri village of Tirbin were present during the reception programme.
