ZIRO, Dec 9: The Ziro Christian Council (ZCC), Confederation of Churches of Ziro Valley, has celebrated the 16th Joint Mass Carol on December 8 at Ziro, which was attended by more than 5000 Christian believers belonging to Christian Revival Church, Believers Eastern Church, Church of Jesus Christ, Salvation Church and Apatani Baptist Church with singing and dancing .
The Carol procession started from Bamin Community Land, Abulyang and culminated at Dree Ground, Nago Putu (Biirii).
Apostle R.R. Khongkrom, President, North East India Fellowship Charismatic Churches, Shillong, founder NT Restoration Church, graced the occasion as speaker on the event. Er. Tage Taki, MLA Ziro participated in the colourful function. Nani Ribia, former MLA, Er. Khoda Gyati senior public leader, Habung Tamang, AYA President, officers and NGOs of Ziro valley graced the occasion.
Ziro Christian Council felicitated Mudang Omo, son of Mudang Grayu of Mudang Tage village for outstanding performance in the field of sports.
ZCC distributed Christmas gifts to 58 needy persons like mentally retarded persons, handicapped, old age persons and also visited ABA Rehabilitation Centre and Mothers Home, Old Ziro.
