ITANAGAR, May 24: Janata Dal (United) North East Executive Council (NEEC) has thanked the people of the state for bestowing their faith in them and congratulated all the winning candidates from state.
JD(U) National General Secretary and In-charge North East Affairs Ahmed Khan and NEEC Chairman Senchumo Lotha in a press release said that it is due to the grace of god and love, affection & support of the people of various assembly constituencies of the state, the party has achieved seven victories out of a total of fifteen contestants. Both of them congratulated the team JD(U) led by Ruhi Tagung, Sanjay Dolo, Kipa Kame and others.
The JD(U) winners as of now are Techi Kaso from 13th Itanagar, Talem Taboh from 32 Rumgung, Dorjee Wangdi Karma from 5 Kalaktang-Rupa, Kanggong Taku from 34 Mariyang-Geku, Dongru Siongju from 7 Bomdila, Jikke Tako from 20 Tali and Hayeng Mangfi from 9 Chayeng-Tajo. As counting in some constituencies are still awaited, JD(U) is expecting some more seats.
The party shall also maintain the character of the NDA in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in both letter and spirit for the larger interests of the people of the state, its release read. JD(U) Press Release
