ItanagaR, Jul 23: As a part of the celebration of Kargil Vjay Diwas which commenced on July 20 last and will culminate on July 27, the North-East Frontier HQ of ITBP and its under-formations are currently involved in various activities to commemorate the supreme sacrifices made by the Indian Armed Forces.
Banners have been displayed in Capital Complex and other parts of Arunachal Pradesh. On July 22, photo galleries and short movies were showcased in ITBP campus, Khating Hill exhibiting the contribution of the forces in national security. On July 23, a 5-km ‘Run for Martyrs’ was organized at 6.30 am. Despite heavy downpour, all officers and other ranks of North-East Frontier HQ ITBP participated in the event led by the IG.
Objective of these events is to create awareness among countrymen about the supreme sacrifices made by the Forces and boost the morale of the serving personnel.
