ITANAGAR, Jan 24: Preparation is in full swing for the ensuing 70th Republic Day celebration here in the State Capital.
Since last one week, students from various schools including contingents of 138 Bn CRPF, 10th Bn ITBP, PTC Gent & Ladies platoon, Fire & Emergency, and 10th Bn of IRBN Nagaland have been rehearsing for the Republic Day parade here at the IG park ground.
“Security has been beefed up to avoid any incident and police is also keeping vigil. Preparations are almost completed,” informed Director General of Police, SBK Singh.
Governor BD Mishra will unfurl the national flag on Republic Day which will be followed by ‘Rashtriya salute’ and official address by the governor.
