ITANAGAR, Mar 24: Expressing strong resentment over the dilapidated road condition between Bam Tri-junction to Aalo which has been languishing for the last 5 years, the Galo Students Union (GSU) has resolved to take democratic action if the government fails to take immediate action.

The said road which is in shambles has compelled commuters to take the narrow road via Nyorak village to reach Aalo, the headquarters of West Siang.

Even after repeated request made by various civil society and organisation like Pusi Bango Welfare Society, All Ato Paktu Ao Society under the president ship of  Shri Kento Ete, All Memo Youth Association and Galo Students' Union the State Government and its working agency has failed to turn up for maintenance and repair work till date. Moreover, fresh road cutting for double lane is suspended thereby further worsening the already damaged road condition, the GSU alleged in a press statement.

Meanwhile, the union has reiterated to go ahead with  its proposed phase wise bandh call in Galo inhabitants areas the first phase of which will be on March 27 next  against non-fulfilment  its nine-point demands.
