PASIGHAT, Dec 15: Twenty-two teachers of secondary and higher schools of East Siang district, entrusted as Communicators by the IPR department under Arunachal Rising Campaign (ARC) were imparted training on Friday in the DC’s conference hall.
In his inaugural message to the Communicators, Deputy Commissioner Tamiyo Tatak asked the trainees to attend the training programme seriously and attentively to clear their doubts so that they could share their knowledge in scheduled classes, in their respective schools and give weekly feedback to the concerned department. A number of welfare schemes launched for infrastructure development in addition to health and hygiene, irrigation and cultivation, education sectors, etc have resulted in positive changes in the lives of countless citizens, asserted Tatak.
Students being the future guardians of the state in particular and the nation as a whole have the right to know about all these government initiatives. The teachers have excellent oratory skills to disseminate all information to the students and therefore they must take responsibility to create awareness amongst the students about the government’s key schemes, he suggested. Tatak assured to provide adequate publicity materials and to monitor closely the progress, time to time.
DIPRO cum Member Secretary D. Dodum and ARC District Coordinator HK Roy imparted the training.
