ITANAGAR, Nov 17: Itanagar Podi-Barbi FC defeated Naharlagun Podi-Barbi FC 4-1 in the final of Podi-Barbi Football tournament played at Higher Secondary School Ground here on Sunday.
Dominating from the beginning, the Itanagar PBFC took the early lead from Nomin's two consecutive goals. One goal each from Jhonson Ragmukh and Jhonson Rinya done further damage to Naharlagun PBFC's futile attempts.
Lone goal for Naharlagun PBFC was scored by Nejum Ragyor. Jhonson Ragmukh was adjudged player of the tournament.
The tournament was played as part of upcoming Podi-Barbi festival to be held at Itanagar on December 5 next.
